Beginners Jewellery Workshop with Jill from Kawe Jewellery

The workshop is for people who want like to learn the basic skills involved in making strung beaded jewellery.

You will learn:

• about different stringing materials 
• how to make loops and wrapped loops and the uses they can be put to
• how to attach different fastens to different stringing materials
• how to use crimp beads
• how to use shepherd hooks

The techniques you learn will enable you to make and take home:

• at least one necklace
• at least one pair of earrings
• at least one bracelet

The price includes the use of all the tools that you need. It also includes beads and findings for you to use in your beading projects. You will also receive a sheet to take home with you as an aide memoir for the techniques learned.

Timetable

1000-1030 – Meet over coffee and introductions
1030- 1230 - Learning and practising of jewellery techniques
1230 – 1315 - Lunch
1315 – 1530 - Choose your beads and design and make your bracelet, necklace and earrings using the techniques learned
1530- 1600 - Any questions eg where to buy components to continue your new hobby.

BOOKINGS NOW BEING TAKEN – £25 to include lunch and drinks. To ease the cost you can pay £10 deposit and the balance on the day.
